1. Introduction
Welcome to Homewolves, a Nigerian-based digital platform that facilitates shortlet rentals, services (including car and boat rentals), and affiliate connections. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Homewolves platform, including our website, mobile app, and associated services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By using Homewolves, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept them, you must not use the Platform.
2. Definitions
“Homewolves”, “we”, or “us” refers to the platform operator.
“User” means anyone accessing or using the platform, including Hosts, Guests, Service Providers, Affiliates, and Clients.
“Host/Service Provider” refers to a person or entity listing short-term rentals or services such as cars, boats, or experiences.
“Guest/Client” refers to any individual renting a shortlet, car, or boat via the platform.
“Affiliate” means a registered individual or business referring users to the platform.
“Listing” means any rental property, vehicle, or service advertised on the platform.
3. Scope of Services
Homewolves acts as a neutral marketplace facilitator, not as a party to any rental, service, or transaction contract.
We provide a platform for Hosts/Service Providers and Guests/Clients to connect.
We do not own, manage, or operate any listing.
All contracts, liabilities, and disputes are handled solely between the listing provider and the guest/client.
4. Eligibility
To use Homewolves, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age.
Have the legal capacity to enter binding contracts under Nigerian law.
Provide accurate, verifiable information during registration.
5. User Responsibilities
5.1 Hosts / Service Providers
Must:
Ensure listings are accurate, legal, clean, safe, and properly maintained.
Fulfill all bookings and service obligations in line with what was promised.
Manage their own refund, damage, and customer service processes.
Comply with NDPR, Nigerian tax laws, housing laws, and all regulatory obligations.
5.2 Guests / Clients
Must:
Review listings carefully before booking.
Abide by host rules and local laws.
Accept that all complaints or refund requests must be directed to the Host or Service Provider.
6. Affiliate Program
Affiliates must:
Register and agree to the Affiliate Terms.
Promote Homewolves honestly and without spam or misleading claims.
Understand that commission structures are subject to change with notice.
7. Payments and Fees
All payments are processed through third-party gateways.
Homewolves may deduct a service fee or commission before remitting payments to hosts/providers.
We are not responsible for delayed or failed payments caused by banks or processors.
8. Dispute Resolution
Homewolves is not responsible for resolving disputes between parties. However:
We may assist with limited mediation at our discretion.
Guests and Hosts agree to independently resolve disputes, including refunds and service quality issues.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Homewolves disclaims all liability for property damage, personal injury, or service failures.
We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of listings.
Our maximum liability is limited to N10,000 or the total platform fees collected for the disputed booking, whichever is lower.
10. Intellectual Property
All platform content (text, images, UI/UX) is the property of Homewolves or its licensors.
Users must not copy, distribute, or exploit content without prior written consent.
11. Termination
Homewolves reserves the right to:
Suspend or terminate any user account for policy violations, fraud, or abuse.
Remove listings or restrict access at its sole discretion.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Lagos State High Courts.
Homewolves Policy Statement
1. Platform Neutrality
Homewolves is a marketplace only. All dealings, refunds, and disputes are strictly between the guest/client and the host/service provider.
2. Host and Guest Responsibilities
Homewolves does not interfere in pricing, property conditions, service quality, or refund policies.
Hosts must publish their terms clearly. Guests agree to those terms upon booking.
3. Refunds & Damages
Guests must request refunds or report damages directly to the host or provider.
Hosts are encouraged to provide fair refund terms and document check-in/check-out processes.
Homewolves may facilitate communication but will not enforce outcomes.
4. Privacy & Data Protection
Homewolves adheres to the Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and does not share user data except for:
Booking facilitation
Regulatory or legal requests
Internal analytics or system optimization
5. Changes to This Policy
Homewolves may update its Terms or Policy without prior notice. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.
